Absolutely not. Many of our top-performing agents had zero insurance background before joining Quantum. We'll walk you through everything — from getting licensed to writing your first policy. All we ask is that you're coachable and committed.

Most new agents write their first policy within 45–60 days of joining — sometimes sooner. The licensing process typically takes 2–4 weeks. From there, your mentor will help you secure your first clients quickly. Commissions are paid weekly once you're active.

Quantum agents are independent contractors (1099). This means you're building your own business with the full support of our platform behind you — mentorship, training, carrier access, and technology — without the limitations of a salaried position.

No — many agents start part time while transitioning from another career. However, the more time and effort you invest, the faster you'll reach your income goals. We'll work with you to build a realistic schedule based on where you are in life.

Yes — we support seamless transitions for experienced agents. We'll work with you to review your current book, help facilitate carrier contracting, and ensure you don't miss a beat in serving your clients. Many of our strongest agents transitioned from other agencies and brought their books with them.

The application itself takes under 5 minutes. After submitting, you'll hear from a Quantum recruiter within 1–2 business days to schedule an intro call. Most people go from application to onboarding within 1–2 weeks.
